The Anchorite is a short point-and-click mystery that begins with a boy waking up in a tower. Explore the tower by clicking on objects and doors in the rooms and following established routines and precepts. The author describes it as a 30-minute piece with hints of horror.
YOU'RE AWAKE
I woke up in the study,
There are two doors.
The starting screen shows the protagonist wearing a red robe standing in his study and the words "You're awake." There are bookshelves, desks, treasure chests, and doors on the left and right around you, and you select the location and path to investigate by clicking on the object on the screen.

Select the target by clicking and check the reaction
When you click on an object such as the left door of the study, the displayed text at the top of the screen will change. The posting screen displays "It's alright, you can speak. You're safe." and the reaction to the subject investigated is shown on the same screen.
Daily routine and precepts form the outline of behavior
According to the official explanation, the boy has a daily routine and is given precepts such as not looking at unclean things and not leaving the tower. The very guidance on what to do shapes the atmosphere of the tower.
