HOW TO PLAY
Controls and goals
- How to operate
- When you move the mouse cursor, the doll will follow and the two pistols will fire automatically. Reinforcement items are obtained by touching or shooting.
- Goal
- Defeat the enemy in the shortest possible time by aiming at the enemy's parts, destroying them, and taking strengthening items.
ABOUT THE GAME

"Akimbo Doll" is a free 2D shooting game set in the theater "Puppetier". Guide the puppet to follow the mouse cursor and aim at each part of the enemy with two automatically fired pistols.

In EASY combat, the doll and enemy face each other on stage, and a yellow crosshair shows the body part they are aiming at. The elapsed time, weapon level, and enemy status are displayed at the top of the screen.

Guide the doll to follow the mouse
All you need to do is use the mouse. When you move the cursor, the doll follows, and the pistols in both hands fire automatically, so movement itself becomes the aim adjustment.
Shoot the part twice and get a strengthening item
Each enemy part can be destroyed by shooting twice, and will drop strengthening items when destroyed. Items can be obtained by touching them with dolls or by hitting them with bullets.
Compete for destruction time with EASY and NORMAL
The official web version has EASY and NORMAL, which record the time taken to defeat the enemy. After the URL change in 2024, it will correspond to unityroom ranking.

Play notes
- Required time
- The official expected play time is about 3 minutes. You can compete in the rankings for EASY and NORMAL defeat times.
- Fees/Support environment
- You can play the free browser version on unityroom. This game is for mouse-operated PCs, so if you cannot play on a smartphone, you are advised to use a PC.
- Public version
- When switching to the new URL on February 27, 2024, the old ranking and score storage were reset and transferred to the current unityroom ranking. No version number listed
- Language
- The official work page and operating instructions are in Japanese. On the game screen, we confirmed that English words such as EASY, NORMAL, and enemy names were displayed.

Streaming and video uploads
We have confirmed that the unityroom standard live commentary policy has been applied on the work page. Live video, live streaming, and monetization are possible, and the game name ``Akimbo Doll'', the poster name ``Jochinosuke.'', and the work URL will be clearly displayed (random live streaming where the work is not decided in advance does not need to be posted during the streaming). Violations of public order and morals, political/religious claims, hate speech, and slander against posters and other players are prohibited. Because it contains third-party materials, the Freepik credit listed on the work page and "Sound Effect: OtoLogic (https://otologic.jp)" will be written in the video/distribution description column, etc.
