ABOUT THE GAME
A mountain route
connecting the cats' everyday journeys.
Short Trip is a hand-drawn interactive illustration for the web by Alexander Perrin. Use left and right controls to drive a single tram along a mountain route where cats live, picking up passengers at stops and taking them to their destinations.
A SCENIC RAILWAY FOR CATS
Leave the stop,
and the pencil-drawn scenery begins to flow.
The route passes houses and trees before continuing across a viaduct. Hold a direction to move the tram and release it to stop, setting your own pace as you look at the scenery.

Bring the texture of pencil drawings to the web
The creator made the work as an exploration of capturing graphite on paper in a digital environment. Hand-drawn buildings, trees, rock faces and overhead wires form one continuous mountain landscape.
