``4x4 Archipelago'' is a procedurally generated English text RPG by agat. Choose an island, discover new lands, and advance your adventure through trading, quests, and turn-based combat.
BEGIN THE ADVENTURE
Check your abilities and belongings,
Decide the first route.
On the start screen when shooting, Kyle Swashbuckler's HP/MP, Charisma and Combat, Silver 500, and sword are displayed on the left. Read the introduction on the right and select your first destination from the link that takes you to the Travel Map.

Select a destination from the generated archipelago
Travel Map shows known lands and undiscovered islands. Each time you choose an island, the combination of lands, enemies, quests, and items will shape your adventure.
Get ready with trade, equipment and perks
Obtain Silver through trade and stock up on equipment and consumables. You can get permanent bonus perks with EXP, and there is also an Advanced Start where you can choose your class, name, bonus EXP and Silver when you start.
Fight and befriend wildlife
Not only will you fight the wildlife you encounter in a turn-based manner, but you may also be able to recruit them. Recruitable companions also have unique encounters and companion quests.

- Average Session
- Official itch.io Average session is A few hours. This is the average session per session, not the complete time.
- Language
- The game is in English, and you can read the story, destinations, quests, and battle choices in text. Japanese display was not found in the official materials and confirmed game screens.
- Fees/Support environment
- You can play the HTML5 version for free on the official itch.io, and the download version is also distributed with voluntary support. Official input field guides mouse and touch screen
- Accessibility
- The official itch.io Accessibility section lists Color-blind friendly and Blind friendly. This notation does not guarantee complete reading support in individual environments.
