ABOUT THE GAME
On a small patch of ground,
critical urban decisions await.
*The Final Earth 2* is a city-building simulation in which you develop a colony for people who have left an uninhabitable Earth. You begin with nothing but an exploration ship and a few meager resources. You must connect areas for logging, stone mining, and housing for your residents, while advancing through research to unlock new structures.
FIRST COLONY
Simply building isn't enough—
you must keep resources flowing.
The starting screen shows 0 wood, 7 stone, and 3 residents. In the later screenshot provided, a Woodcutting Center and a Stone Mine have been built; the extraction priority is set to "max," with 46 wood and 14 stone in stock. Placing buildings and managing work priorities are both essential to maintaining the flow of resources.

Stack buildings vertically
On a limited plot of land, you aren't restricted to placing facilities side-by-side—you can also stack them vertically. As the official description suggests, you can evolve your settlement from a single exploration ship into a towering, multi-level space city.
Moving from Resource Production to Research
According to the official description, the gameplay involves gathering wood and stone, producing food, and conducting research to unlock new buildings. You expand your construction efforts from resource-gathering facilities—which sustain your residents—to research facilities that broaden the options available for your city.
Housing and Essential Services Are Also Part of the City
The official description notes that managing a city also entails providing residents with housing, food, entertainment, and education. You expand your colony by establishing not only resource-gathering facilities but also the buildings and services necessary to support your population.
From your initial exploration ship,
to a towering space city.
