*Purrgatory* is a point-and-click visual novel set in the afterlife, where you explore the world and interact with seven residents. As you move between rooms, engage in conversations, and complete tasks—often involving the use of items—the individual stories of each character begin to unfold.
A QUIET AFTERLIFE
Even in a white garden,
there are small discoveries to be made.
The official gameplay screenshots show a largely white garden, featuring a withered tree and the entrance to a building, all rendered in delicate, thin lines. When you select an area to investigate, the protagonist’s observations appear in a text box at the bottom of the screen.

Moving advances time
According to the official guide, time within the game progresses each time you move to a different room. When you find yourself waiting for a story event to unfold, you can explore other locations or visit other characters.
Tasks for individual characters link different locations together.
