ABOUT THE GAME
Instead of moving the landing spot,
you choose which side to catch the blocks on.
In *Hextris*, colored blocks fall from the outside toward the center. You use the left and right arrow keys to rotate a central hexagon, catching the blocks on its six sides. Connecting three or more blocks of the same color clears them; if any stack of blocks crosses the outer gray boundary, the game ends.
ROTATE THE CENTER
Before they pile up,
move to meet the next incoming block.
In the featured screenshot, blue, yellow, and red blocks have accumulated on several sides of the central hexagon, while another blue block falls from above. A score of 9 is displayed in the center.

Rotate the six landing spots
Use the left and right keys to rotate the center in 60-degree increments, choosing which side will catch the falling block. Although there are only two controls, you must manage six distinct directions.
Connect three or more of the same color
When three or more blocks of the same color connect, they disappear, and the blocks above them slide toward the center. If this sliding causes further matches, those blocks will also be cleared.
Consecutive clears and the outer boundary
Clearing multiple sets of blocks in a row creates a "combo," with the duration indicated by the outline of the outer hexagon. The game ends if any stack of blocks crosses the gray outer boundary.
Look at the next color,
and rotate the hexagon.
