Fumble is an English conversation puzzle by Geoffrey Mugford and Samuli Pietikäinen. Learn the correspondence between abstract symbols and inputs that appear in interactions with others, while following the story of a person who has social anxiety when it comes to speaking.
GLYPHS BEFORE WORDS
From two input symbols,
Select a response.
In the posted screen, two people face each other in a blue-purple field, one symbol is displayed in the other party's speech bubble, and two input symbols are displayed on the left and right at the bottom left of the screen. The state of comparing symbols instead of words represents the heart of conversational puzzles.

Find correspondence between symbols and input
Abstract symbols and left/right input appear in conversations. The developer's comment on the official post page explains that the design can be solved either by finding rules from common parts of symbols or by memorizing correspondences.
Choose a response and connect the conversation
Proceed with the monologue or conversation by pressing the Enter key, and select symbols from the left and right inputs in the response scene. After inputting the information, the speech bubble and option display will change and you will be able to move on to the next interaction.
Add anxiety about speaking to confusion about operation
The author's official page describes the gameplay as a "playable metaphor" that deals with one manifestation of social anxiety. A story and a symbol puzzle put the experience of deciding what to choose in a conversation in the same scene.
