``Panzer Marshal'' is a turn-based strategy game based on World War II developed by Nicu Pavel. Players command battalion-sized troops on a hex map and secure victory objectives such as cities and strategic points within a limited number of turns. The official distribution page states that it will include 17 campaigns, over 200 scenarios, 30 countries, and 4,000 types of unit data.

On the battlefield, troops, roads, villages, victory objectives, and unexplored areas are arranged in the same hex map. According to the official manual, each turn gives orders such as movement, attack, supply, and replenishment, and the turn ends when all instructions are completed. Movement costs and defensive effectiveness vary depending on terrain, weather, and troop movement methods.

Victory goal and turn limit are the skeleton of a single battle
Scenarios have a maximum number of turns and aim to capture or hold the victory objective, indicated by a gold-framed flag. Capturing cities and supply points increases prestige points, but is managed separately from victory conditions. You can also win by destroying all enemy units.
Determine based on military class, terrain, weather, and supply.
Roles are divided into infantry, tanks, reconnaissance, artillery, anti-tank, anti-aircraft, aircraft, etc. In addition to range, ammunition, fuel, experience, trenches, and search ranges, 20 types of terrain and weather affect movement and combat. Although predicted damages are shown, the actual results also include a random element.
Transfer core troops to next scenario
The core troops of the campaign will accumulate combat experience, which will be carried over to the next scenario. With prestige points earned from victory objectives and battle results, you can purchase new units, replenish, resupply, and update equipment to improve the long-term composition of your commanding army.

- The official web version is free. The Windows, macOS, and Linux versions are also available for free or for an arbitrary fee, and in addition to the 1-player version, local multiplayer for 1 to 2 players is also available.

After checking the Panzer Marshal official web version, Nicu Pavel official itch.io page, official manual, official repository, and update history, we were unable to confirm a dedicated policy that allows the general public to perform game commentary, live streaming, video posting, and monetization. GPL v2 and later in the official repository is a code license and cannot be treated as a comprehensive license for distribution including unit images and sound effects included in the screen. If you plan to distribute or monetize your work, please check with Nicu Pavel about the latest terms and rights to the material, and provide credit for the work and material.
