``Magical Maimai'' is a 5-stage vertical scrolling shooter published by Akifumi NONAKA on itch.io. Operate the red mai and use magic shots to attack enemies while aiming to rescue the kidnapped pink mama.
MAGIC IN MOTION
Pass through the thorns,
Shoot the magic bullet straight up.
Enemies will fall from above. Adjust your position with the arrow keys, shoot magic bullets with the space key, and advance through the stage while avoiding contact.

Move with arrow keys, shoot with space
Use the arrow keys to move the creature and the spacebar to fire the magic shot. Use movement and attacks differently on the vertically scrolling screen.
Enhanced recovery, firepower, and speed
Hearts restore one life, yellow items increase the number of shots and attack range, and blue items increase movement speed.
Save your friends in all 5 stages
In order to save Pink Maimai who has been kidnapped by Thorns, advance through all 5 stages and challenge the boss battle.

- In-game text is only in Japanese. Start, operation, purpose, and progress can be confirmed without reading English, no understanding of English is required
- Compatible environment
- Free HTML5 browser version. The author states that it is for PC only, and it may not work properly on smartphones etc.
- Stage composition
- There are 5 stages in total, and you can proceed to the beach, southern island, cave, highway, etc. The official page shows it as a work that includes boss battles.
