HOW TO PLAY
Controls and goals
- How to operate
- Move with WASD, arrow keys, and mouse. Shooting is automatic and can be switched with Space or Z. Defeat enemies to accumulate special moves and use them with V. Path choices are left, right, and Space.
- Goal
- Defeat bosses through battles and rewards on branching paths, and train your hunters while deciding whether to continue or retreat.
ABOUT THE GAME
Proceed along the path by moving and selecting configurations
"Jiangshi Night" is a vertical shooting game in which a hunter travels on a path where Jiangshi come and go. Attacks continue automatically, and the player is in charge of movement, special moves, and path selection. Combine the relics you get along the way and decide whether to move forward or retreat from the boss.
GAMEPLAY
Choose a starting amulet
"CHOOSE YOUR CHARM" is a selection of talismans. Lotus Seed restores 1 health with special moves (up to 3 times per lap), War Drum accelerates the accumulation of special moves by 50%, and Scholar's Abacus has the effect of adding 30% experience points and 15% gold value. You can choose between left and right, Space, or 1 to 3.

Consists of hunters and relics
Five hunters will appear with different attacks: bills, staffs, peach tree swords, lightning, and demon fire. Combine 44 types of relics to change attacks and abilities.
Choose a branching path and proceed
The path is lined with points such as healing, treasure, relic boxes, and night markets. Choose a branch to advance to, and go through battles and rewards to reach the boss. You can check the road map with Tab even during battle.
Decision to take home the loot
After the boss, decide whether to proceed or retreat. The loot you carry is separate from the storage left for the next challenge, adding risk to your decision to proceed.

- Language and screen display
- Supports English and Traditional Chinese. You need to read the descriptions of abilities and relics. HP is physical strength, CHARM is a talisman, and STASH is storage. The guidance on the battle screen means ``Move with WASD, arrows, and mouse. Weapons fire automatically.''
- Early steps
- Start in Run game and press the key to select Hunter. Start with Space or Enter and select an amulet. Choose the glowing path on the road map and press Space to proceed to battle.
- Scale and time
- Officially guides 5 hunters, 4 types of paths and bosses, and 44 types of relics. The total clearing time has not been announced, and the format is to proceed in sections of laps and withdrawals.
- Terminal and save
- You can play for free on PC and smartphone browsers. Linking your itch.io account is optional and is a function for cloud storage.
