HOW TO PLAY
Controls and goals
- Controls
- Move with the Left/Right arrows or A/D, jump with Shift, Space, or J, use melee attacks with Z or K, and ranged attacks with X or L. Hold Q to view the controls and press Esc to pause.
- Goal
- Advance through the courses while dealing with terrain and enemies, aiming for the stages ahead.
ABOUT THE GAME
Cross platforms and choose your attacks
(K)ill Step! is a side-scrolling action game in which Unity-chan advances through courses. Jump over terrain, stomp on enemies, and use melee and ranged attacks. Health, remaining lives, and score appear on screen.
GAMEPLAY
Advance into areas with enemies and ledges
Control instructions appear within the courses. They explain how holding the jump key makes you jump higher and how to defeat enemies by stomping on them from above.

Adjust your jump height
Run left and right across platforms and jump over ledges. How long you hold the jump key determines your jump height.
Melee and ranged attacks
Use Z or K for melee attacks and X or L for ranged attacks. Quick recovery is assigned to C or E.
Special moves and stat allocation
Select special moves with V and N, then use them with B. Hold M to view move details, and press Tab to open stat allocation.

- Free to play in a PC browser. The official page notes that it may not be playable on smartphones.

STREAMING INFO
Streaming and video uploads
The game’s own official policy permits gameplay commentary, recommends including the title and link, and makes crediting the uploader optional. It generally follows the unityroom gameplay commentary policy, but use in content designated for ages 18 and over is prohibited. For monetization and commentary under a corporate name, the guidance says “it may be safer to avoid this…”, so clear permission to monetize has not been confirmed. The creator states that inquiries about whether gameplay commentary is permitted are not accepted.
