How to operate: Use the direction keys to move and select, Z to decide, investigate, and talk, Z and direction keys to dash, and X to cancel and open/close menus.
Goal: Cooperate with your fellow Shogi players and progress through games and Tsumego to discover the truth about the world.

"Go RPG ~Genan's Ambition~" is a world RPG that uses Go to solve various problems. The story progresses through cooperation with shogi players, games, and Tsumego.

GAMEPLAY

Early stage of learning the relationship between rocks and Tsumego

In the early dialogue, the rocks in the room and the idea of Tsumego are explained. The structure is such that you learn how to play by looking at the black and white stones on the board in the story scene.

A learning RPG that progresses while solving Tsumego.

This is a learning RPG where you progress while tackling Tsumego problems. In the beginning, the action of breaking rocks is explained in connection with the idea of Tsumego.

Meet shogi players with different personalities

Work together with shogi players with different personalities and play a game. In addition to solving Tsumego alone, interactions with other characters are also incorporated into the adventure.

Pursue the truth of the world

The setting is a world where Go is used to solve various problems. Through the conversations and explorations of the characters, we pursue the truth of the world.

Play notes

Required time/difficulty: The author's guideline for completing the game is 10 to 20 hours, and the difficulty level of Tsumego is about 5 to 15 levels.
Language: Proceed while reading the Japanese conversation and operating instructions.
Fees/Support environment: You can play the official browser version of PLiCy for free. For smartphones, the author recommends a horizontal screen where the operation panels do not overlap.
