``How The Heck Do I Become A Space Captain!'' is a turn-based strategy by ORTIGA. Lead a crew of six and combine movement, attack, recovery, and support across hexagonal tiles as you test your way to becoming a starship commander.
SELECT NORBERT
Check your ability,
Select the next tile.
On the listing screen, Norbert is selected and a movable green tile with 5 attack power, 4 defense power, and 20 HP is displayed. If you move from a crew member's face icon to their location and select the person on the board, you can check their abilities and range of action at the same time.

Deciding movement and attacks on the hexagonal board
When you select a crew on the board, ability values and movable tiles will be displayed. Assemble your moves while looking at the positions of your allies and enemies, the connections in the terrain, and the distance of your next attack.
Combine crews with different roles
The official website introduces a mushroom that generates an extra turn, an explorer who heals allies every turn, a space suit that increases defense, a robot that heals and supports, Norbert who has a powerful but unstable attack, and a fish girl who uses long-range attacks.
Complete 4 missions with different goals
The four missions present different objectives: defeat the enemy without losing allies, protect the city for a certain period of time, eliminate the fleeing parasites, and defeat the final boss. The criteria for viewing the board will also change depending on the mission.

- The official page states that there are 4 levels, and the average session is several hours.
- Language
- Introductory conversations, tutorials, and mission explanations are in English. Knowledge of English is required to understand the requirements of each assignment.
- Fees/Environment
- You can play the free HTML5 version on your PC browser. Input is by mouse operation
- Mission composition
- Victory conditions change for each level: annihilation of enemies, defense for a certain period of time, elimination of escape targets, and defeat of bosses.
