ABOUT THE GAME
Deploy policies by looking at the situation in each region
Green New Deal Simulator is a deck-building game about transitioning the United States to a decarbonized economy. We will place policy cards in each region and change the composition of power generation and energy consumption. In addition to emissions reductions, employment, budget, and time available also play into the decision.
GAMEPLAY
Check the effects of policies using a pie chart
In the tutorial, the pie chart changes for regions where solar power generation cards are applied. The green part shows renewable electricity, and the vertical gauge on the right allows you to track the overall emissions.

Decide where to use the card
Use policy cards by dragging them to regions on the map. Effects and conditions are written on the cards; for example, solar power generation is more efficient in areas with good sunlight conditions.
Also handles conversion other than power generation
In addition to investing in renewable energy, it deals with the electrification of transportation and heating, updating the power grid, carbon capture, and technology research.
Expand your deck with limited resources
The official guide includes 22 types of policy cards. Execute the policy while watching the budget and time, check the effectiveness and expand the deck.
