HOW TO PLAY
Controls and goals
- How to operate
- Move with WASD, aim with the mouse, and shoot with left click. R to reload, G to grenade, Tab to talk, Shift to sprint, C to crouch.
- Goal
- Confirm the situation through conversations with characters, and use the minimap to deal with enemies as you progress through the objectives of each level.

"Echoes of 71" is a top-down 2.5D shooter by Studio_71. The official description is inspired by the book 'বীরশ্রেষ্ঠ' and focuses on the heroic deeds of seven Bir Sreshthos of Bangladesh.
MOVE, AIM, SURVIVE
Read the minimap,
Move before being surrounded.
When the conversation ends, a countdown will proceed and the enemy's direction will be shown on the minimap. You handle movement and aiming at the same time, and choose a battle point while looking at ammunition and grenades.

The purpose of the battlefield starts with a conversation
Approach the characters and talk to them using the Tab key to confirm the story and their next actions. Conversations and battles are continuous from the beginning.
Shooting that handles movement and aiming separately
Move the soldier with WASD, aim with the mouse, and shoot with left click. You can also use Shift's sprint and C's crouch.
Manage ammunition and grenades
The number of ammunition and grenades will be displayed at the top of the screen. Press R to reload, press G to use a grenade, and proceed while watching the direction of the enemies that appear on the minimap.

- Required time
- The official itch.io average session is approximately 1 hour. Please refer to this as a guide to sessions played, not individual clear times.
- Language
- The languages available on the official page are Bengali and English. During the actual play, we confirmed conversations in Bengali and operation displays in English, so reading comprehension in the corresponding language is required to understand the story.
- How to proceed in the beginning
- First, read the conversation with the nearby person using Tab. After the conversation, check the red mark on the minimap and aim with the mouse while keeping your distance with WASD.
- Fees/Support environment
- You can play the HTML5 version from your browser on the official itch.io. A download version for Windows is also available.
