ABOUT THE GAME
If you climb one screen,
The sky approaches again.
"CELESTE Classic" is a 2D action game that takes you up and down the mountain. Read the placement of the footholds, align the apex of your jump with the direction of your dash, and head to the next safe zone. If you fail, you will immediately return to the same section, so you can adjust the input timing and trajectory for each section.

In one scene of the official play video, the red-haired protagonist jumps diagonally upwards from a snowy platform. The thorns, narrow passages, and landing points fit into a 256-square screen, showing a section configuration in which you can choose your next direction in the air.

Create a trajectory with few operations
Combine moves, jumps, and dashes to adjust where you land in the air. The landing point changes depending on the direction and input timing.
You can try it one screen at a time
The sections are shortened together and return to the same arrangement after failure. This configuration allows you to compare input timing and trajectory on a single screen basis.
Developed into “Celeste” in 2018
The re-envisioning for PC announced on the official ``CELESTE Classic'' page was released on January 25, 2018 as a product version ``Celeste'' that includes the same authors. Classic is still available as a free HTML5 work.
