ABOUT THE GAME
A move to keep moving forward,
Bending in only four directions.
``A Simple Snake Game'' is a single-player Snake game created by bluehexagons using Godot. The snake automatically advances from the first direction input, and the player only chooses the direction in which to turn: up, down, left, or right. Touching the wall or your tail will end your run.
FIRST BITE
When you take the red bait,
The blank space on the board is reduced by one.
Every time you take one piece of food, your score increases by 10 and the snake's tail grows one square. At the same time, the movement interval becomes shorter, and the margin and decision time needed to avoid the longer body gradually shrinks.

After deciding the direction, automatically advance one square at a time.
If you change the direction of movement using the arrow keys or WASD, the snake will automatically continue moving on the grid. Since it does not accept input that immediately reverses direction to the previous direction, it will turn by looking at the empty space ahead.
10 points per bait, one tail, and a little acceleration
If you take the red bait, you will get 10 points and get an extra tail. In the official source, the initial movement interval is 0.2 seconds, and each tail section shortens it by 0.005 seconds, accelerating to a minimum of 0.05 seconds.
Supports multiple input methods and saves high scores locally
Supports keyboard, gamepad, mouse, and touch, and saves the top 100 high scores on the device. Options also allows you to turn on/off sound effects all at once.
